In late November, the Youth Committee planted tulips at the Park Street YMCA with students and staff of Montclair High's Community Based Instruction Program and at Mountainside Hospital with Deron School students and their teachers (see more pictures, below.). Despite very chilly weather on both occasions, everyone had a good time learning about tulips and sharing in the beautification of the town.
Many thanks to Celia Radek, GMC member and May in Montclair tulip chair, for providing the bulbs and the planting expertise. All participants are looking forward to a beautiful tulip display next Spring.
